Why is Blogger still down
Today made me realise how much I actually love my sister. She is probably my favourite person in the world.

My Childhood friend of nineteen years, NINETEEN YEARS, just turned nineteen a couple of days ago. Amazing how we're still so tight after so long. How many people actually have a childhood friend of nineteen years? Rare. So anyway, we went to surprise her at midnight with a tiny little cake and five of her favourite food. And tealights to make a pretty heart shape. We gave her a candle-less cake because the stupid woman forgot to give me one. I am too lazy to elaborate further but it all went well, thankfully. There was a stupid fat beetle a few metres away while we were lighting the tealights. I almost died. Thank God there weren't any cats around.
Alethea slept over after. I can honestly say that it was one of the best sleepovers I've ever had. I love Alethea so much sigh. Is it even possible to love your Bestfriend so much. But that bitch is going to leave me in a couple of weeks to study in Aussie. 7 more weeks. That is crazy.
I should stop rotting infront of the computer like a fat slob and start packing for Taiwan.
Hello what is wrong with Blogger I can't centre align my words. And I can't upload photos.

Psalm 23

"The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
He leads me beside quiet waters,
He restores my soul,
He guides me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
Surely goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house
of the Lord
forever."

10 Myths About Introverts
Spot. On.
I kept nodding in agreement while reading this. (Yes like a retard.) But I cannot emphasize enough how similar I am to these couple of points. (NOT THE MYTHS.) Please do not be mistaken.
Myth #1 - Introverts don't like to talk
This is not true. Introverts just don't talk unless they have something to say. They hate small talk. Get an introvert talking about something they are interested in, and they won't shut up for days.
Myth #2 - Introverts are shy
Shyness has nothing to do with being an introvert. Introverts are not necessarily afraid of people. What they need is a reason to interact. They don't interact for the sake of interacting. If you want to talk to an Introvert, just start talking. Don't worry about being polite.
Myth #3 - Introverts are rude (This, I must agree, is true to a certain extent)
Introverts don't see a reason for beating around the bush with social pleasantries. They want everyone to just be real and honest. Unfortunately, this is not acceptable in most settings, so Introverts can feel a lot of pressure to fit in, which they find exhausting.
Myth #4 - Introverts don't like people (This is utter rubbish)
On the contrary, Introverts intensely value the few friends they have. They can count their close friends on one hand. If you are lucky enough for an Introvert to consider you a friend, you probably have a loyal ally for life. Once you have earned their respect as being a person of substance, you're in.
ARE THE THIRTEEN OF YOU READING THIS. Best friends for life. I mean it.
Myth #5 - Introverts don't like to go out in public
Nonsense. Introverts just don't like to go out in public FOR AS LONG. They also like to avoid the complications that are involved in public activities. They take in data and experiences very quickly, and as a results, don't need to be there for long to "get it". They're ready to go home, recharge, an process it all. In fact, recharging is absolutely crucial for Introverts.
Myth #6- Introverts always want to be alone (Introverts like to be alone, just not all the time)
Introverts are perfectly comfortable with their own thoughts. They think a lot. They daydream. They like to have problems to work on, puzzles to solve. But they can also get incredibly lonely if they don't have anyone to share their discoveries with. They crave an authentic and sincere connection with ONE PERSON at a time.
Myth #7 - Introverts are weird (I like being weird, though. I wouldn't call this a myth)
Introverts are often individualists. They don't follow the crowd. They'd prefer to be valued for their novel ways of living. They think for themselves and because of that, they often challenge the norm. They don't make most decisions based on what is popular or trendy.
Myth #8 - Introverts are aloof nerds
Introverts are people who primarily look inward, paying close attention to their thoughts and emotions. It's not that they are incapable of paying attention to what is going on around them, it's just that their inner world is much more stimulating and rewarding to them.
Myth #9 - Introverts don't know how to relax and have fun (THIS MYTH LAST WARNING)
Introverts typically relax at home or in nature, not in busy public places. Introverts are not thrill seekers and adrenaline junkies. If there is too much talking and noise going on, they shut down. Their brains are too sensitive to the neurotransmitter called Dopamine. Introverts and Extroverts have different dominant neuro-pathways. Just look it up.
Myth #10 - Introverts can fix themselves and become Extroverts
A world without Introverts would be a world with few Scientists, Musicians, Artists, Poets, Filmmakers, Doctors, Mathematicians, Writers, and Philosophers. That being said, they are still plenty of techniques an Extrovert can learn in order to interact with Introverts. (Yes, I reversed these two terms on purpose to show you how biased our society is.) Introverts cannot "fix themselves" and deserve respect for their natural temperament and contributions to the human race. In fact, one study (Silverman, 1986) showed that the percentage of Introverts increases with IQ.

Pardon my atrocious thighs.
We had one of the best cell groups ever. Partially because we had Old Airport Road's Lao Ban Tao Huey and Char Kuey Teow before that. Both queues were INSANE but it was worth every minute.
December has been awesome. Endless meetups with friends and rotting away infront of the computer. What more can I ask for? I haven't touched the piano since the last practical exam and it feels so good. I am not looking forward to practicing the piano like a mad dog. Bach pieces aren't exactly the easiest to memorize.

Almost there
Just 9 more days. I can do this. I smell liberation already. "Liberation". One month is not enough. But better than nothing of course. Why am I even complaining?
But really, one month isn't enough for me to spend with my bestfriend before she flies, given the fact that I'll be away from Singapore for eight days. Eight days in the land of bubbletea and ahlian clothes I am actually really excited (not for the ahlian clothes, more for the food). Anyway as I was saying, that means I'd only have around.. 20 days with Alethea? That is not enough.
I still can't get over the fact that I won't be in Singapore for Christmas.

I hate it when the sizes of my photos aren't consistent (Sorry, OCD otter here). But that's besides the point. How flawless do my favourite Angels look?

Halloween

A pity we weren't able to dress up. Funny how so many of the creatures were from Nafa.
"Eh you're from Nafa right!" was what I said to one of them.

NAFA 'Fun' Day
Nafa Fun Day wasn't all that fun. Hence, the title.
I am peeling so badly it's not even funny. My shoulders look.. deformed and strange with weird patches everywhere. I must admit that it is quite fun to peel though. I look like a retard trying to peel my own back.
You won't even believe the extent of my laziness. My phone battery is too low for radio use, but I am too lazy to charge my phone. I am currently uncontactable friends.

Amu
WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE SIZES OF MY PHOTOS. Photobucket is nuts.

It's still hard to believe that Amu's back for good. I remember the nights where I would miss her so much. And now that she's back, I am never letting her go. Ever again.
I told Sim ai to SCAN the polaroids, not TAKE PHOTOS of them. Guess she still has a lot to learn. That Tuaneh.

Conquered it in an hour fifteen! I died at the 9km mark. Really. I thought I was going to die.
My monsters told me that a hundred year old man completed the marathon in eight hours. Hundred year old man? Really?
