This is Hannah and I all day everyday.

Too good to be true

It's scary to think how fast time is going to pass. I am going to make these precious couple of weeks count.

For some strange reason I decided to read the Bible all over again yesterday and I came across this verse in Genesis chapter two which says, "For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh." Ok God I take this as a sign. I am getting married. YAY.

Anyway, camp is over and I am back to being a sloth once again. Buttt, Ale and Mel are back! FINALLY. Do you know how good it feels to be texting them, "Free tomorrow?" I am so deprived.

I didn't quite get what I wanted to get from camp to be honest. But I learned stuff nevertheless. God is good. All the time.


Disclaimer: I am not desperate to get married. I am absolutely not. Either 1) I get married or 2) God makes sure Hannah Alethea and Melissa don't get married.

I am so ironic. Goodbye.

It's just so sad how someone can say, "I don't need them (her best girlfriends) anymore cause I've got him (her boyfriend)." After so many years of friendship? Really? I just can't wrap my head around it.

So if you guys ever break up (I said if) you're gonna just come running back to your 'bestfriends'? I'm sorry to burst your bubble but things just don't work this way.

I have lost all respect for you. Sorry bro.

Mel and Ale are coming back in 7 days and 11 days respectively. Sorry mates, for making such a big deal out of this. THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT COUNTDOWN OF MY LIFE. Gotta declare it everyday.

Like Mel said, we need to have a month-long sleepover to make up for the months we spent apart.

Oh Bestfriends, it's about time you come back to mama. TWO WEEKS. Toadies are about to reunite. I am so excited I might die.

Also, Alicia got accepted into Laselle. Bestfriends in neighbouring schools. What more can I ask for?

On a side note, steak for dinner. Momma you the best. Gotta chew some meat before I tighten my braces tomorrow. I think gaining 2kg in a week is no joke. But then again, who cares. It's the holidays. Pirates marathon with my slug friend Hannah Loke tomorrow. Life is good. I mean it.

Goodbye Brother

This brother of mine left for India for Internship a week ago. Of all places he chose India. Smart. Anyway, I MISS HIM ALREADY.

I shall end off with a picture of my dearest brother. This stupid boy wouldn't stop touching his hair when he was a kid. My mom made him tie his hair. I remember my mom would chase him around the house with a rubberband in her hands hahaha I love my family.

I ought to find something constructive to do. Came across a quote on Tumblr which says "Time you enjoy wasting is not wasted." How apt. I actually enjoy slothing. Just that.. some times I get too bored at home I become slightly delirious. So yes. I need to find something productive to do. A mission trip perhaps. Let's see where God leads.

I wanted to get lunch for myself earlier on in the afternoon. I opened my gate and tada a cat was seated so very comfortably in front of my gate. SERIOUSLY. There goes my lunch from my favourite stall. I whipped up a meal for myself. Ok that sounded so nice. I cooked Koka noodles with egg which tasted horrible. My cooking is so terrible I can't even believe myself. My husband will suffer under my hands in the future. 

And so.. my hatred for cats has been taken to a whole new level.

JPot for dinner with my fellow Ben and Jerry's scoopies. Can't believe it's been three years since I became a scoopy. Crazy how fast time flies. Time is fleeting. Soon I'll be an old hag sweeping the floor waiting for my kids to come back from school. Ha, kids. Boyfriend where Gladys?

But no don't get me wrong. I am happy single. I love my friends. God will send a boyfriend when it's time. And if He never does, so be it. I will rear three dogs and eat my life away and be a fat slob yay.

Also, the whole world is going overseas to study. Including Alcinda Lee. Is God testing me or what.

Even though my exams ended on such a bad note, I guess there's still much to thank God for. IT'S THE FREAKIN' HOLIDAYS. I am a free bird. For three months.

Hannah Loke is back from Europe. Which means we can relive our lepak days where all we do is sit in front of the television and watch the same old movies with bubbletea and laksa. Two fat slobs rotting our lives away. I love Hannah. 20 years of friendship. Beat that.
